I feel bad that your thread hasn't gotten any attention but I really don't know anything about AMD processors.

You Will Be Fine With Just Air Cooling, But Get A Good Fan, A Globalwin Or Alpha. I Don't Think You Will Get 900 With A 700 Athlon Unless You Use A Gold Finger Device, Is This What You Were Going To Do? As For The Motherboard You Will Love It I've Got The KA7 And It's Great. With The FSB Settings On It The 700 Should Reach 800 And The 800 Possibly 900 It Depends What Other Components You Use.Also The Fan That i Use Is A Globalwin VEK32, But I Wouldn't Really Reccomend it The Best Fan In My Opinion Is The Globalwin VOS32+ You Can See It At www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_CPU_Coolers_2.html
    Hope This Helps

AthlonOverclocker,I have the same board and CPU and have set my FSB up and got 792MHz. Kind of hard on ram and other cards ,but only for a short while. AUDSCOTT has a 650/w 700core and using a GFD and PC133/128 has his at 900MHz,don't know what his cooling is.I am using the VOS 32 and it works very, very well. Pulled my cpu apart the other day, only to find it has a 700 core, but has a 2.8n's cache. Will be getting a GFD and new Muskin ram as soon as my cash flow increases, and will post results.

i believe you will also need to use a different cache divisor. the 700 is the last to use a 1/2 cache. You will need to find some software or i think that board may have the option in the bios.
