My Abit KA7 came with it too, of course it has a thermal header that comes with the KA7. My G-Orb fits the athlon pretty tight, i dont think I will be able to put it in between the metal-heat plate and the G-Orb. So should I put it on the AMD logo sticker on the black casing or just go ahead and put it on the metal-heat plate?
Oh by the way its a 700mhz Athlon and was made in 2000 week 22 I think in Dresden if thats where the 23 stands for. (230022)

the optimal place for a thermal sensor is next to the core (on the upper side) right on the brown substrate... but i guess since you haven't taken the case off, the best place to put it would be on the heatplate, as close to the middle as possible...
keep in mind that the temps you get are going to be somewhere around 5-10°C cooler than what the core really is...
