    For this particular comparison, Intel. I *might* miss having AGP4x, but the higher performing processor and easier setup make the Intel my choice.

    How much cooling help for the PIII ?

    I'd better stick with the Athlon, at least I can OC and know I can cool it without a refrigerator truck and an industrial fan.

    I personally would take the Athy, but i have always been a fan of the Underdog AMD, even if i am running a K6-2 500 and it isn't as good as a Celeron or something else Speed for speed.

    I've never owned an AMD processor, so I can't be objective. I hope to trade my 600e/BF6 for an Athlon setup before the end of the year though. I'll vote then.

    I would want to go with Athlon....personal preference

    and might I add that this thread turned out to be an shining example of the maturity level of all the CCO'ers...
