I heard that the Socket 370 Golden Orbs come with a square of good thermal grease pre-stamped on their base plate. Is this true, or do I have to still buy that thermal grease when I overclock.

Yes, you are correct. I've seen people use the cap from a 2-liter bottle to protect it until installation.

yah its true, there is a stamp of thermal grease on teh bot of the orb.
