    1/8" cold plate

    Any problem using 1/8" aluminum cold plate for my 136 watt pelt?

    I would use something at least 3/16" with that powerful a tec.
    If you lived here, you'd be home by now...

    My case temp right now is 47' F cooled by an air conditioner that is ducted to the open case inside the desk enclosure I have a 131 CFM fan blowing the ice cold air at the 3dfx alpha cooler

    I need a 3/16"X50mm copper plate but dont know where to go. I went to the site suggested but they are out of stock Help

    I would try the 1/8" for now, that one is in stock. Just really monitor core temp fluctuations! Here is the link...

    Or how are you gonna power it? What voltage and what kind of amphere are we talking about? A peltier that powerful is hard to control ... if anything goes wrong, everything is pretty much toast (ask Melvin Tong).
