Hi my friend, My K62-550 is o/c to 605/106 and Sandra reports the same but the mips are way to slow, 600 or so. There were times not o/c at all that she reported at least 1175 mips and o/c to 1285. Did I half smoke this thing or is Sandra out of her head? Things don't seem any slower to me. Is there a benchmark program I can use that I can give the results to you and you could tell if this chip is smoked (half way) or what? Thanks reef
Really, the only thing I can think of is somthing with your swap file, since you are running a K62, you may be budget-mided, so only running 32MB of RAM (if you are), and you have youre HD higher than it should be, then when you are running Sandra, the operations could be going to your swap file, and that could slow it down. Any other oppinions?
------------------ Please don't provoke the poor people..........
Their website said "Requires Linux Distrubution based on kernel 2.4.2 or better," so I went and installed FreeBSD.
What version of Sandra are you using ? Sandra 99 got me this totally unbalanced scores as well, not with Sandra 2000 though.
But anyways, I don't think Cpu/fpu tests have anything to do with swap files.
I think they only use a very little amount of RAM, if any at all.
You could try Passmark, it's got both cpu and fpu tests, and a whole bunch of others.

We came from the stars so they say, now it's time to go back. If I was conceived today, I would not get beyond eight cells, and yet here I am. In a way they were right, I don't have the heart for this world.
The question is, why am I having so much trouble dying?
