    waterblocks

So i don't seem too stupid i will start off by saying i don't know much about water cooling. OK, to my question, what is a water block. Is it just a hollow metal cube that u stick pipes into and use it as a heatsink or what?

Correct The waterblock is the piece that goes on you CPU instead of your usual heatsink.
Circulate cold water through the waterblock and you've gotten yourself a glimpse of overclocking nirvana
