Is there something wrong with my temp reading??

Is there something wrong with my temp reading?? Because when i go into bios and look at the cpu temp. It reads 72c. I just turn it on for about 2 min. and when i touch the heatsink it is not hot. Its got 3 fans on the heatsink and one small one on the side and also a big one blowing into the case. It should not give me a high temp.
When i put in my other cpu(celeron 366) the cpu temp reads 34c.

Hobs a member of this forum has the same board and has those high readings also. All the programs you use will give you similar readings +- 5% since they are getting the temps from the winbond chipset on the mobo

And voltage? My cpu is at 1.60 and i got my core2 at 1.65. It works fine but I dont trust motherboard monitor. My system temp jumps from 26 to 38 celcius so its definitely screwwy.
