anyone who bought a BP6 from EC-PC plz read!

I just wanted to know if anyoen who bought a BP6 from EC-PC has had any probs with the board, becuase i can't get in contact with him to ask him directly. Plz help i just want to know.

I did, and I am. My CMOS won't keep its settings. That is the only problem I am having right now though. What is your board doing?

I tried e-mailing him, but he hasn't gotten in touch with me.

EC-PC is a stand up guy, but I am not sure how late it is where he is.

I believe he is a nice guy, and I'm not accusing him of anything, but a reply to my question would be appreciated. Since I'm not the only one with a problem, this is going to the top.

I have nothing against him, actually i would love to do biz with him again, he keeps his word and is a good guy! I have not yet used mine becuase i am getting my Celerons soon ( 2X 366 week 36 Malay are they good? matched pair ), i just wanted to know if anyone had any probs with it, also u guys do your boards have metal handles? for the socket? thanx alot!

What BIOS versions are you guys using? I have been all over bp6.com looking for problems like this, but you two are the first I've seen with them.

I heard that the late week 30's was great for celys. About that mobo. I had that same problem with the cmos Ryan. I didn't even mess around. I just sent it back. I don't know if they shipped with bad battery or what. I think there was a bad batch. Mine had the plastic levers. Anyway, unless ec-pc is a dealer, your going to have to contact abit, which could be a time consuming process unfortunately. That is unless ec-pc is willing to handle that for you? Good luck. I guess if you want to save yourself the trouble though, you may want to just pick up a battery and see?

Thanks for all the replies guys. EC-PC got in touch with me via e-mail, and everything is cleared up. I'm going to exchange the board with him for another one. All is well, and EC-PC is a standup guy. He also sounds pretty busy, so I can understand why I got overlooked.

I only meant to say that by reputation, he is a okay guy and that it might be late where he is (and thus he might have been asleep). Just trying to keep things calm
