O/c K6-III 450

I will soon have a K6/III 450, Do I need to break it in before o/c. What should I expect to get out of it. I am going to use a High end Peltier. Please Help. Thanks , John

K6-IIIs aren't known to be good overclockers. AMD pushes them to the limit at the factory due to relatively low yields. You may get 500 or 550 but that's the ceiling for most K6-IIIs even with TEC cooling.

500 probably, but 550 is doubted...

maybe just raise the FSB for better memory improvement.
