    CMOS Battery? Help!!! Please!!!

Alright, I already said that I screwed up the computer and couldn't get to the BIOS/CMOS screen. If I take out the BIOS/CMOS battery, will that reset the BIOS/CMOS settings?

    what mobo are you using???
    1. there is normaly a jumper on the mobo that you conect just for a few seconds then put back to normal this resets the cmos to default settings.
    2. yes removing the battery and re installing will have the same effect
    3. if it as an abit mobo with a soft menu then holding down the insert key on the keyboard during power on resets the the cpu settings to default.

    hope this helps
