asus p3b-f questions (re: hwc review)
i am in search of a great new motherboard to replace my bh6 as i need to give this one to my sis when i rebuild her computer after a strange meltdown of sorts. anyways, i looked at the hwc reviews and saw this on the asus p3b-f, and was just wondering what it meant exactly:
CPU temperature is monitored by the ASUS ASIC through the CPU's internal thermal diode (on Pentium III, Deschutes Pentium II, and PPGA370 Celeron in conjunction with the ASUS S370-D or S370-L transform card) to prevent system overheating and system damage.
does this mean that my celly 466 has an intermal diode?? thanks
