Just got a Aopen full tower case for a comp I'm building and I must say it seems good value. Before you USA folks , start saying you can get this and that cheaper, In the UK we pay almost the dollar price you pay, for things here in pounds even though the exchange rate is still around $1.50 = £1

Yep, dabs is cheap.
You'll find insight UK has more stuff in stock more often though. Although service comes at a price. Right now I desperately need a new PSU though.

Bladerunner, I think thats a bit steep, i picked up my full tower atx 300w for £45 at my local compy shop. - dont look as good as the "blue monster" shown tho..... anyway, dont suppose you know of anywhere in UK I can get an alph or similar fan for a socket 7 ? (MAD k6-3 450-well, supposed to be 450, but suddenly only runs stable at 400)

Chenbro Cases, £52 from Manchester based Micro Direct. Not a full tower I know, but it's great. Supports Athlons and everything else. Properly destructible (you can take it all to bits) and with all the features you need like great cooling and PSU. Nice colours too. It's even got handles on the removable sides to carry it around safely. Don't ever buy a cheap case because they're BAAAAD - get one of these.
Yeh I could have got a "generic" one cheaper but I thought it was good for a Known named brand. It's also nicely put together.
If you have a credit card get heatsinks / fans from www.3dfxcool.com as I get most of my fans and heatsinks there. They don't rip you off on the postage, they send to the UK usually quickly, and he marks stuff as nill value rating so you don't pay vat, which more than covers the Postage & packaging.
DAM only got me a visa debit card and they wont take it, tried before to order stuff from abroad with it, bit crap really since u can just go into any shop over here and use it, and coz i recently changed jobs the dam bank wont give me a "proper one" - dont matter that I own a dam nice house thats 1/2 paid for- idiots. oh well, thx for the info m8

Hey CALV I've used the Visa debit loads of times to order from the states, it's still a visa card you just have to select visa on the list, doesn't matter if it's a Delta it'll still go through.
I ordered my alpha direct from the company in Japan, it cost a bit more in shipping but it was before 3dfxcool had it.
Like that blue case though, bit expensive the rest of the stuff from there. I just put my second PSU in the bottom of the case (tough it'll go in the top too), but for custom holes that rocks

I got the Aopen case hx08 as well. Got it from dabs as well. I paid a bit extra when I got it, but was still good value, and is very solid and well built. Nice PSU as well.
