Open/closed case temp diff?

I was just wondering what kind of temp differences all of you are experiencing with open/closed case and what setup you have.

Me:
open 32-25c
closed 40-45c
setup: 80mm fan on the cpu, ps sucking at 7v. No intake fans!!

is it true that if you leave your case open all the fans collect alot of dust??
I can't remeber, but I'm sure I've heard someone say something like that b4
oh and will intake fans help even with the case off??

I don't have the temps right now, but I keep my case on so that the intake and exhaust fans form a nice airflow pattern over the mobo. Plus the noise with the case off is deafening.

Mine is warmer with the case open.

35-40 closed
40-46 open

I have one intake fan on bottom front of case, and the PS and one extra fan exhausting at the top rear.

Mine isn't so warm compared to yours.

1 Intake 80mm fan.
PSU fan sucking the air out + another 80mm fan sucking out at the top rear + the FC-100 slot cooler.
And I get 35c maximum.
That's how warm it is inside the case. The mobo gets to 35c at fulload.

If you have your case on the floor, say on carpet, it will get mad dust. I have mine on a 2 level filing cabinet and I need to clean about once 3 months or less.

Heh...haven't got more than one fan...and it's primary funtion is to cool my radiator...but about 22-24c closed and 25-27c open...
