    15 minutes into the test I got this crack sound from under the water, so I stopped the test immediately, didn't want the ice to screw up my block...
    fortunately nothing to serious

    yip, it's anti-freeze, it's a test run I'm doing on a Chip-Chiller that I just finished up ..it's up for grabs, planing on doing the Ebay thing, still need to figure out what to do to get signed up and all that crap... hope it won't stay in my possession to long...

    I would steal a thermometer from a freezer.
    They typically handle -50C.

    The one in mine is says it will display to
    -60C, so this is a good place to start looking.
