    Computer hangs after detecting master and slave WTF?????????

    well like i said my computer hangs after starting up, it detects the ide masters and slaves and then it stays there, when i power down and up again im usually lucky that it starts right, sometimes it takes 4 times to get trough. Whats the matter?? can i be the memory.... or something else

    please help me out

    Try disabling the auto and just have the bios store the drive info so i doesnt auto detect.
    Sometimes i get that sort of prob when i fiddle with soft menu!
    Try fiddling with bios
