well i don't know what the going rate of bean&cheese tacos are, {like 2 for $1?}, but i get payed 2, count that, 2 EVERY WEEK!!!! now i don't know what rich is if that isn't!!
the tacos are a raise i just recently got from the three peanuts a week i used to get...i don't know, but i think maybe i got jipped cause i'm only getting 2 things instead of 3. could someone maybe clarify this little incident for me? my boss says that the 2 tacos are much more than the peanuts, but i'm still sceptical......
I bill consulting at ATS ~1500/hr.
Non-consulting I bill at ~850/hr.
Here those are quite "normal" rates.
I usually work 30 - 40 hrs a week and have about 50/50 consulting/non-consulting and have had the odd 80+hr week.
My company pays me 40000ATS a month (for 14 months a year) plus 25% of my billed hours.
The logic behind the taxation here is sick, but last year (99-00) worked out like this (based on 14.0:1.0 exchange rate, which was the avg over the last 12 months):
$40287/a fixed (before tax)
$36391/a variable (before tax)
I get 30 paid vacation days too. Obviously while on vacation the variable part of my pay is 0 (no billed hours).
I fully intend to bum the entire summer of 2000 and work very little.
And I still live in fear of Swedish wages.
They took 59% of all my gross '98 earnings away, those bastards at Skattemyndigheten!
And my rent here is more than US$1000/month.

I make about 30120US$ a year before tax, and I normally work 37,5h a week and 4 weeks payed vacation. The tax is 36%. In addition I sometimes work extra. Sometimes up to 50h a week, which get me some extra income. "Skattemyndigheten" as Tiberia is referring to grab about 50% of that extra bucks.#@£%&!!!!!
I'd like to have more, but since my company sell/service computer and stuff, I get nice discounts on HW/SW and also some audio/video-eqipment

I am a computer hardware/software technician for a pharmaceutical robotics and healthcare automation company. I am 21 yrs old, and I make somewhere in the upper $30K's. I won't get specific though. Although, I love my job, I get 4 weeks pd vacation per year, and next month I am going on an all expenses pd vacation for me and my wife to Los Cabos Mexico for 4 days & 3 nights.
