    Yay.. dual celermines... maybe..

Kyle over @ HardOCP has the Neo-S370 PPGA -> FCPGA adaptors and a few Cele2 566's coming in today or something.. he's gonna test them in dual mode.. hope it works.. which it prolly won't.. but still.. there hope.. heh

The Power Leap adapters just got here. Will put them on a board after the news is done. As for SMP, Azzo is sending us a set of Celeron-II 566s to see if we can run duals. We are of course not for sure on this yet and think it most likely will NOT work with the Celeron-IIs.

I really hope it does work, then I'll have SSE, and I could probably get them both to 1.1 GHz a piece using the PandaCooler. Dual GHz chips. Think about it!

Their website said "Requires Linux Distrubution based on kernel 2.4.2 or better," so I went and installed FreeBSD.

I'm going to settle for one 566@850...

    The question is:

    What would you rather pay?

    A. $950 for P3 850
    B. $160 for C2 566@850

    Your final answer?

    Try:
    A. $1100 for P3/256KB 850@1275/150
    B. $310 for C2/128 566@850/150.

Might be more on track, possibly wrong with the top-speed of the P3, but I would think it could get close to that speed.
