Just got 600e quick question

There is blue plastic chit on the processor. I am about to mount the heatsink on the processor. Should I take off that blue ****? How should I remove it? THanks for the input.

You don't have to remove the sticker if it doesn't get in the way of the heatsink... if it does then you'll have to remove it.

No this blue plastic stuff is on the processor itself. I bought a processor without a heatsink so I am thinking they put it on the processor to protest it since it doesn't have a heatsink. Will it effect heat dissipation if I leave it on? It is a slot 1 600e.

i'd protest anything with something blue on it, myself

if it's right on top of the processor core, then you'll probably need to remove it (unless is is a secret peltier, or something )
