fc-gpa what m/b

I have been hearing that with the p3 fc-gpa cpus that althouhg they can run on a bx chipset they run a helleva lot better on a apollo something bloody chipset. Is this true? Also for the fc-gpa cpu's can you get fc-pga to slot1 converters or what?
