    anyone got a pelt on a vid card?

    I have had 1 on my g400 max/ same concept as on the cpu... sorry/ no pics

    I have read that in order to gain the maximum overclocking benefit from a peltier on you rvideo card you need to make some sort of cold plate that would also cool the ram chips, as the ram is what usually craps out first when overclocking.
    Hope that helps unless you are already planning that.

    I didn't have the lil heatsinks, or a cold plate on the ram chips, but my g400 max used to peter out at a 16% OC,but with the pelt on it, and a ystech fan blowing along the length of the card, I got an OC of 27% on the card/ only reason I took it off was that the supply I had at the time, wouldn't keep up with the cpu and vid pelt at the same time .

    i got sinks on the ram and they do get warm so i guess the r working...and LG is sending me some copper cold plates...i just wanna see one setup..and i got a bigger sink and fan for it too

    I think I saw a review that says Ram sink for video card show no extra o/c-ing capability, but that review didn't use peltier. Maybe it will show some effect when used with a peltier
