What Color Is The Shroud Of Your Alpha P3125S?

I got 3 different coolers from Alpha... the P3125S, PEP66T and the FC-PAL6035 and all the shrouds for the heatsinks are white. When I see them in pictures they're silver or aluminun colored.

Are mine different or are they all white?

Ack!!! Dude peel the white stuff off.. its like a protective coating for shipping or something. It will hold in heat.

Hmmm thats weird, so far I have bought 3 Alphas and I had to remove a thin white protective coating on all of them.

To tell you the truth I really can't see the difference with that picture you took. A little blurry. Okay, I'll be honest... extremely blurry.

I'll try doing it to my coolers though and see what comes of it.

When Stailess steel or Aluminum come in sheet form, there is always that "protective film" applied to it/ ( more so with stainless ), I doubt whether it would make a difference to take it off, as the outside shroud of the alpha really dosn't get over case temp....Besides/ it looks alot better silver! lol
