I know this should be posted in the video card section but i think that you guys are more knowledgable, so i decided to post it here. Ok my question is: what is the best way to get the heatsink/fan off my Prophet ddr. I have heard about putting it in the freezer but is that the easiest way? Thanks for you help.

i never heard that...what i did read 1 time is to carefuly pry it off..maybe a thin razor would work..do not use force..if it dont have a clip holding it, it is glued on..

work it slow and easy

Use a Blow dryer to soften the Glue, and then it should just twist off

nailpolish remover should remove the old glue becarfull with it...what r u replacing the stock stuff with? i changed my G-Force cooler too...had to lap the chip though very uneven...u can see a pic of it HERE by the way post your system here its Zippy's site all the guys r posting their setups here...
