Yes, there has been another passing... for some reason, my V3 3500 tv has decided to crap out on me... i've tried it in other computers, all sorts of different multipliers and fsb's...
so... $160 US down the drain... oh well... guess i'll just have to use these lab computers until i can buy a new vid. (probably get a CLAP if i can win the lottery or something...)
well, i'm going to go curl into a ball on my bed and cry... ermmm... i mean, go get really drunk or something

Site Content: Overclocking, cooling and a lot of BS about Me, Myself and I. Sorry, I didn't hear you, I was staring at your breasts.
I think people should think before they blindly OC. I am not saying "You suck" or anything like that to anyone - just that sometimes we loose sight that the things we are messing with cost us one month's pay.
Would you shove a diamond ring in a microwave to see what happens?
Of course, you can always get dud hardware...thats no one's fault.
I for one only wrecklessly OC and older CPU. At the moment I would really OC anything apart from my Athlon because its the most expensive and I have several Socket 7 CPUs, so if I break one I can replace it, even if its slower to still have a working system.
In the heat of o/c'ing, I probably did way more stupid things than I can afford. I guess I have to accept that since it's a hobby (to me), it's really a toy. If I break my toys, then I guess I don't have toys to play with no more (granted, expensive toys). I guess I shouldn't be too gun-ho with my toys. I guess in my o/c'ing obsession, I have turned into a reckless, undescipline youth who do stupid things that he will regard later on. But damn, those were the days (said the old man to the stranger sitting next to him on the bench @ the park). Man, I gotta get my focus straigh again.

since i didn't alter the card in any way, it technically wasn't "screwed around with"... and i got a retail unit (for some odd reason), so it's goin' back!!!
well, i guess i'll go scrounge for a v3 2000 or something, back in a bit!
How much do you spend on your systems? If I spent a months pay (months income) I'd have the f**king fastest, baddest, up-to-the-minute system running right now!
Damn I only spend about $400-$600 a month!
If you can't afford it, then don't do it!
But hey like every other addiction, you've got to have more!!

damn... i thought i was pretty poor (being in school and whatnot) -- i probably make less than $500 a month (woohoo!!! let's hear it for claiming "poverty" on the tax form!!!)
oh yeah, i guess that free ride kindof helps my whole college expenses thing...
anyways, what i'm trying to say here is that yeah, i usually have to end up rolling out a month's pay just to fix my mistakes (thank goodness the Athy hasn't crapped out) -- ::knocking on wood::
if i can get this thing replaced, i'll be a very happy person but if i can't, then i guess i'll just have to roll w/ the punches and keep on goin'
