I have a pair of Alpha's on my BP6 and they work great. I've heard that the FEP's are just about the same for cooling quality, so it's more a personal preference and price consideration than anything.

I think the tests show that the Alpha cools a degree or two cooler than the FEP, but it is more expensive. The FDP with the 80mm case fan does the best, but won't come anywhere near fitting in a BP6 - try overclocking with stock heatsinks first. My BP6 that I just sold would do 550Mhz 2.0v both CPUs with stock heatsinks and fans.

I have an FEP32 on my BP6 and it does fit. Barely. I had to bend the capacitors a bit out and the socket arm on my mobo is metal so I had to bend that as well. I am not sure if you would have the same problems with the alpha or not. Maybe LoupFou could help you out with that.
