What's your high/low temp with air cooling?
Just wondering what everybody's temp is without using peltiers,etc. just standard,
alpha's, global win. Just want to know if Im the only one having problems keeping my temp down 38c/45c

AMD Athlon 500, with K7-600 Core and 3.6ns L2 cache.
Currently running at 770Mhz (700x110FSB).
CPU Idle Temp: 34C.
CPU Max Temp: 40.5C
Then again, I did improve the contact between the CPU, Cache and the Heatsink a lot using 1mm thick aluminum sheeting.

There are those who think, and those who dream, But I, for one, refuse to choose between the two!

Hi!!
Athlon 500@700 at 1.6v with 650 core.
Used FKK08 heatsink and 2x cooltium fans running at 4800rpm.
CPU temp at 35 degree C idle and about 40 when worked up.
Add in Aluminium foil btw L2 cache and plate and thermal gease btw heatsink and plate of CPU.
Can go 750 at 1.7v with same setup with Gigabyte 7ix, maybe some changes to fans that do not let me go 750 at 1.7v. But very happy to go 700 at 1.6v.

Xris..you can be sure that there are still many of us crazy coolers out there! I have since retired my K6 and took on a p2-350 which will O/C to 434 mhz[124x3.5] without core change. It's kind of a loaner right now..BUT when I own it..then it gets the treatment!
high=35C/low=28c.

Yup, seems like the current Cumine core needs peltier to get past the mid 800's.
