PIII 600 katmai / coppermine

to overclock which is better, the katmai 512 or the coppermine 256.

witch one gives the best and stabel results?

I would have to say Cumines are twice as easy to o/c.

The .25 micron core just wasn't meant for much above 600. The .18 "coppermine" core seems to be much easier to overclock higher and with better stability.

the L2 on die L2 cache helps alot too! My PIII 500 could do 700 MHz, but I had to disable L2 cache cuz it just couldn't keep up.
