it's not the v3 that bothers me... it's the athlon... i've had my v3 3500 up to 203mhz before (i only had it up there for a couple hours of quake... no real testing)... but 1.1ghz... with no extra cooling? my a$$

i don't F8@k'in think so...
it makes me when people make unreasonable claims and then expect you to believe it... as if

Athlon 500@768Mhz - no extra cooling apart from one desktop fan blowing into my open case (this fan is actually quieter than any 80mm case-fan I have ever used).

CPU Temp is 41.6C.
Thats an OC of 268Mhz (134Mhz for the L2). I dont think the 800@1100 is so unreasonable compared to this. Then again I have no idea how overclockable the 800 core is, but based on all the other cores, its gonna be really overclocker-friendly.
