    Cheap memory!!!

    Sorry this is off topic. Thought it might interest everyone.

    I found 64MB ECC PC133 Unbuffered DIMM For $11.10 It is Viking Memory.

    I am sure this is a typo but there is online ordering. What does the "Unbuffered" part mean? Let me know and I will show you where to buy it...Maybe we can all get some cheap memory.

    I dont know but do they come in 128 MB DIMMs cheap too?

    No I have not found any good prices on 128MB DIMMs. I would prefer those too. I have an Abit BP6 and need to know if the unbuffered will work in it.

    Jupp, they will...unbuffered means "normal" but in servers and such they use buffered and most mobos support it...

    Now it's listed at $184 Hope they actually ship it at $11 - I went to order and the total for 256M was $751
    I call it "No-Pants Wonderday," but it turns out the police just call it "Thursday." Go figure.

    If I have the recept and they have already charged my credit card, do they have to sell me the ram for the quoted price? I know, it probably doesn't work like wal-mart...but I sure hope it gets throught the system before someone catches it!
    it appears they have already caught the mistake, and corrected the price to $184...I checked my order status and it says that it has been received, so hopefully it will go through!

    I just ordered another 128 Megs PC133 7.5 ns from www.tcwo.com I paid $145 for it on Friday and now this week it is down to $118 - Last time I ordered from these guys they sent me Micron 7 ns cas 2 - We'll see if I get lucky this time.

    Bummer!!! Got up this morning and found that they cancelled my order! Oh hell! It was worth a shot. Couldn't beat 128MB for $30. Guess I will have to keep looking...
