    heatsink fan

I think I am either going to get a new heatsink/fan or at least a better fan to put on the heatsink I have. My current fan is a cooler master, and it blows air from the case *into* the heatsink. If I put a new fan in, should I have it blowing air into the heatsink, or out into the case. Thanks.

Don't worry about it, your setup is configured properly. The fan is supposed to blow air onto the heatsink instead of away from.

You see the point of the fan is to cool the heatsink and by blowing air towards it... it is working most effectively.

    Good Luck!
