I was just thinking about my good 'ol Pentium 60 (yes, the very first one; with the "bug").
I now keep it just as a paperweight/monitor-top trinket, and I was noticing how it was starting to look like a pet rock from all of the handling. Maybe I'll drop it in the dishwasher and see what happens!
I think it's safe to say that I won't be relying on this chip for any future upgrades; and it won't be worth anything at all for many more years when it might be an E-Bay $50 auction item for its nostalgia value.
Hi guys
U want to talk about slow system??
i still have a AT system with a 80286 CPU running at an incredible speed of 12 Mhz.
Right now is just standing there im my room with a paper saying "My first PC"
heheheh
Ha, my first system was a IBM clone 286 @ 10 MHz, 1028kb of RAM, 40 MB WD HD, no sound card, no vid card, only had monochrome display and no mouse either. I really loved the game 4D BOXER but it kept on crashing (I think I needed more RAM).
BTW, does anyone know where I can still get 4D BOXER? I swear, it was the best boxing game ever (and must be one of the first 3D game ever).
