Need advise for cooling a G400

I recently bought a new Matrox G400 32 MB videocard and i'm intend to overclock it very soon, but I don't what kind of cooler I need. Can I just mount any sort of cooler on the videocard' heatsink, or do I need a special one. And I want to know where I can connect it to (on the MoBo or something else).

Hi Dot.. Radio shack has 486 coolers or just a 486 cooler fan. You can just screw it directly to the existing sink on your card. Also, yes you can connect it to any fan take-off on the mobo, or if it comes with a 4 pin connector, hook up to 1 from the power supply. You can also get an aftermarket heatsink/fan cooler asembly. I would recommend www.tennmax.com Look at their coolers for mga. hope this helps..

Hey Dot,

Do like I did. Slap on a Cooler Master fan on the heatsink. Actually, any fan will do. My friend uses an old 486 fan on his G400. Here are some pics:
