quick overclocking/rain question

some people talk about disabling l2 cache when overclocking. is this necessary??

also, everyone talks about rain, the program similar to cpuidle but i cant find it anywhere, where can i find it. thanks

It is not necessary to dissable the L2 cache to overclock. It does however sometimes allow you to get higher up in mhz. You can get rain 2.0 at:
