    atholon 550 overclock

    I have a atholon 550 and a gig a byte 7 ix board. I have been reading your comments on resoldering the chip to overclock it. Are there any diagrams out there as to what has to be changed? I would like to try this. Thanks

    Check out Toms Hardware for some charts.

    Beware, it is not a easy job. The SMD's are extremly small. Make sure you have a good ESD safe soldering iron.
    There is a great risk of killing the CPU if you don't know what you are doing.
