hello, i have a ecs P4S5MG/GL+ motherboard running a celeron 1.7ghz. I want to overclock this processor because i know it can push out more in terms of performance. the only problem being when i go to change the cpu settings in the BIOS it doesnt change the processor speed, the settings seem to be locked. Does this board have a bios lock of some sort? or amn i doing something wrong here
ECS AMD MBs aren't known for good overclocking, and it sort of follows ECS Intel MBs might not do so well either. Do you have a manual showing adjustments? Of course, want to be sure to have sufficient PSU and memory for o/c?
