AMD supplied a utility with my motherboard.

    ------------------
A life? Where can I download that?
Where am I going? -- And why am I in this handbasket?

The BEST freeware CPU temp monitor program is Motherboard Monitor coupled wit CPU Idle to keep you nice and cool.

Definitely use Motherboard Monitor. The Hardware Doctor that came with my BX6r2s and BP6s are crap.

    Try www.thetechzone.com/downloads.htm for
MB Monitor. It runs temperature information
for motherboard and cpu. Also this page has
tons of ICQ stuff and cpu/video overclocking programs.
