If its not succesful will this shorten the life of the chip? I looped quake2 demos for over a weak and so far its not helping my 366 hit 550, its a weak 8.
You must understand that "burning in" does not necessarily mean that you will be able to increase your cpus potential to overclock. It's just a method of reaching the highest overclocked level that your processor can already attain and stabiliziing it from then on.
Besides, a week 8 366Cel has a slim chance of hitting 550. Look for a week 22 or later.
Well TripleV if ya look at http://www.bxboards.com/tips.shtml you'll se that only Week 21+ 366PPGAs want to run 550MHz!!!
Try to return the 8week 366 for 21+ 366!!!
