Overclocking PII and PIII cpu's on intel mb like se440bx2

se440bx2 mb PII 350, what could I reach with this CPU and is it possible to overclock on this mb?

Im currently using a SE440BX2 MB and a Plll 500. I am very disappointed with the lack of "OC ing options this setup offers. I've been on the phone with Intel, they offer no guidance in the situation whatsoever, so Im going to return the MB for a refund and buy an Abit BX6 V2 which offers these options plus many more with Softmenu. I understand your discouragement as I've been experiencing the same frustrations. I dont think overclocking is possible on your board. Good luck!

If you want to overclock on a motherboard like this, the best way to do it is to get a PPGA Celeron and an overclockable Slotket. This allows you to make core voltage and FSB adjustments even on non-overclocking freindly motherboards.

The MSI 6905 Ver. 1.1 is the best deal going right now at around $12.
