    Can a Dell XPS R400 P2 400Mhz with BX-6 be Overclocked?

    Can a Dell XPS R400 be overclocked? The motherboard is a BX-6 but the BIOS is different? Its a Dell BIOS....are there any ways? (Im trying to find this out for a friend)

    Some Dell's have jumpers for different speeds on them, the optiplexes do. Whether or not you can actually change the speed, I don not know. I played with it a little and think all that did was change the multiplier, as when I changed it it didn't work well at all...
    I call it "No-Pants Wonderday," but it turns out the police just call it "Thursday." Go figure.

    But the manufacturer says its a BX-6 Motherboard though....a jumperless motherboard i suppose. But it uses a Phoniex Bios chip. And the Dell BIOS interface is a little bit different though. But i'll check if it has jumpers then.
