    FSB question

When CPU is overclocked by using FSB, let's say I get 420MHZ using 4* 105MHZ. Would it affect CPU as well? I know that it affect other HD, CD-ROM, memory..... and all. Which of the following settings are the best and stable condition for AMD II 400?
Now I have 4.5* 100MHZ running rock solid at 450MHZ

    5 * 95MHZ = 475MHZ haven't tried
4.5 * 105MHZ = 472.5MHZ I've done it and it runs stable. Here my question is whether this extra 5MHZ will affect CPU load as well...

    Thanks

    Tim

Of course it does. Anything and everything you do when overclocking affects the CPU directly.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak.

tim, it's time for you to explore how far that chip will go! try out something like 5.0 X 105 or tryout 5.0 X 112, just push the envelop and see what you can get! (insert legalese disclaimer here... blah blah blah)...

of course, i'd reccomend (another disclaimer, hahaha) getting a better heatsink/fan combo than the OEM version and some internal case fans

    have fun with it!

I have done 500MHZ 2.8V running stable at safe mode. I don't want to mess up around with FSB..... especially HD cost more than AMD II.... I think I will stay at 450MHZ 4.5*100MHZ ..... I also have alpha cooling system.
