Can I overclock an OEM mobo from Compaq?

I have a Compaq Presario 5140 w/ a PII 400 and the original mobo. Any way I can overclock it? Thanks

Check your manual, then look into your BIOS.

If you can set the FSB, you may be able to overclock.

I also have COMPAQ mobo. It is 5070 with 400MHZ AMD II. I overclocked it to 450MHZ and it runs rock solid. I am not sure about PII..... On the motherboard there is a multiplier setting and system bus setting. Just change them according to what it says on the mobo. On the mobo, it tells you the settings for different speeds.

    Let me know

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them. I am really new at overclocking, so any help is appreciated greatly.
