    Cel 366 slot1 or ppga?

I want to achieve the honor of a cel366 at 550mhz. I am getting a Abitbx6 v2 mobo and a cel366, which one of the 2 types is recommended for overclocking? Which has the best success rate?

Yes. I agree. I have a Celeron 366 PPGA in a PROCOMP slotket on a ABIT BX6 2.0. It runs beautifully at 567mhz (with SoftFSB) at 2.0 volts. Won't do 616mhz even at 2.3 volts. Good luck.

PPGA on a slotkey...hehe. Didn't want to get stuck with a ppga MB just in cast they didn't take off...
    Have a 366@550. Runs great.

The current crop of Celery PPGA 366 is indeed overclockable to 550. Check out http://www.cpureview.com/art_c366_a.html. I think you need a chip produced week 25 or later.
