I would suggest we also try the followings:
1. remove the Bios battery for a few minutes, or replace a new one if available, reseat the Bios default.
2. reseat the data cable as well.

I assume that you are using the router or wired connection.
try power off the network router (if available) and power off the laptop as well. (not just 'restart' on the laptop since network issue...

Try install the latest mobo chipset driver follow by a reboot.
If still the same problem, check if there is any jumper on the mobo for audio devices.
