Thanks for the recommendation on that AW744 Pro JonP. It works great. My MX400 is going to be tied to the rear bumper of my car and dragged around the neighborhood. That's about all it is good...

Can't agree more. I just uninstalled mine today and installed a AOpen AW744 Pro in it's place. The AOpen is cheaper, and WOW! What a difference! That damn MX400 has just taken a place on the shelf...

Yeah, Diamond Update is how I installed the latest drivers. I just ordered the AOpen AW744 Pro...so we'll see what happens. I've gotten a couple of recommendations for it and the price is right...

Okay....anyone else have probs with the Diamond MX400? I often have staticky (is that a word?) sound and once in a while when playing MP3s I get a screeching noise out of my left channel that is not...
