Most sites like our has a file size Limit... So generally, videos and recordings are too large.
But, you can use a free file hosting site and then post a URL to the video to forums like this one.

FYI - regarding the USB mouse - look in the BIOS for the option-> Enable USB Legacy Devices.

The Win 7 install "would/should" have installed some needed files on the XP drive. Since the XP drive was unplugged it could do that...
