Solution theory...
"Update" the driver to a generic WinME one.
It should fix it. The 128 driver by creative is abit crap.

I'm upgrading my sound setup.
I'm wondering what will suit me better... the Live! 5.1 or the Live! Value, bearing in mind the Value will be £20 ($30 apprx) cheaper. Will the 5.1 features be better...

I noticed this when i installed Win2K dual boot w/ Win98SE. I don't really think there is much you can do about it.

LOL, alright, get the logitech X things. They're 2.1... i'm sure you can find a hole to put a teeny weeny sub in? God... if you're using them for music you NEED a sub.

I noticed you were in England and set a price range of about £50.
WTF do you want 2 piece for? Get a 2.1 or evben 4.1 for that amount of money!
I suggest Creative's FPS1000 4.1 speaker system....
