I have the MX300 and use the Vortex 2 drivers from Aureal. Works perfect!
Keep in mind...if you switch drivers....that after uninstalling Diamond drivers you`ll need to delete a few registry...

and I`m now the proud owner of the MX-300.

It`s true! But its not do out in late 1999. Will be in high-end stuff only at first...very expensive at first...to recover R+D. It might not be available in home PCs til 2000. The K6-3 is coming...
