Did you completely uninstall and reinstall Flash? Make sure to install Flash for IE, not plugin browsers.

In your pic, you pointed to the gray area on the bottom. That is part of the Google search page background.
As mentioned in the link I posted, you can change the...

Not your desktop wallpaper. The Google page wallpaper. Did you look at the link I posted?

Blue? I see gray.
If you mean the gray bar at the bottom, I think it's part of the background wallpaper. Did you try changing the background or installing a theme?...

What about in Linux? What does the partition manager say there? Are you sure it is NTFS?

Remember that RAID doesn't protect you from things like viruses or worse, accidental deletions. (yes, I am guilty of that) In that case, you'd need to restore from backup.

Not much. They are independent.

Wow. That's going to be an enormous array. What are you going to use it for, if you don't mind me asking?
RAID does not replace backups. Even if you have RAID5, you should still be making regular...

You can try reinstalling the drivers. Otherwise, go to the Intel site and try their drivers.
December 18th, 2013, 12:31 AM
What do you mean it didn't show the drivers? It says Intel Pro Wireless drivers. Second from the top in Driver - Network.

It's an N card.
It seems like the drivers are working. You can try getting updated drivers from HP/Compaq. Windows Update is usually...

Are you sure you have the correct SSID and passphrase? What type of encryption are you using?

I prefer Avast.
If you decide to install AVG/Avira/Avast, then I would remove MSE. You shouldn't have 2 AV programs installed.

I've never had Visual Bee in my installers. I posted the link to the Mozilla site. I don't know where else you would have downloaded the installer where it would include Visual Bee.
December 11th, 2013, 02:37 PM
Visual Bee is NOT part of Firefox. That is a malware searchbar.
MSE is not enough. Try using Malwarebytes as well.

I never say 100% no. Anything could happen. That's why you should always make a backup before messing with partitions. Good luck.

Besides the need to increase the partition size, going from XP to Win7 shouldn't affect the other partitions.
There isn't a choice during the Win7 setup. I'm not sure what you're asking.
October 14th, 2013, 02:00 PM
Yes there is a hidden partition created, but that doesn't mean the boot partition can be GPT.
I've had to revert several Win8 systems to Win7. In most cases, I've had to disable secure boot and...
October 14th, 2013, 02:56 AM
No. The boot partition for Win7 must still be MBR. For Win8, you can use GPT.
Try reverting a Win8 OEM system to Win7. You'll see. Did you look at the link I posted earlier?...
October 13th, 2013, 02:16 PM
If the partition is less than 2TB, you don't need to use GPT. You can still use AHCI with MBR.
October 13th, 2013, 04:05 AM
No. It's not. GPT is one of the common problems when trying to install Win7 on a system that came with Win8.
October 12th, 2013, 07:23 PM
The boot partition still needs to be MBR for Win7. Minitool supports GPT.
Why do you have to use GPT? You'd only need that for partitions larger than 2TB.
October 4th, 2013, 09:01 PM
Minitool is another one. Not sure if it will do what you want, but it says it supports UEFI disks. There is a bootable CD option.
