Oh, BTW, where can I find complete specs for MX300? Diamond site only has MX400 and it's like MX300 is non-existent.
What API's and which versions does it support?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm a bit frustrated. Yes, A3D is definitly better than EAX, but it is only supported in few games, unlike EAX, which has a wider support in games.
MX400 supports EAX 1.0/2.0, but only A3D 1.0??...

I read in PC GAMER that MX300 is more CPU-dependant than SB Live!
Can anyone confirm this?
I had a problem like that with my old PacBell. I formated the HD and re-installed windows. Worked fine ever since. Hence, must be drivers/windows problem.
