I went to ww.a3d.com and downloaded some drivers and installed them
now A3d works but I'm not sure if this is REALLY A3d or just sofware emulation of it

i thought there was a patch for it to use a3d??

I have a SB live value with liveware 3.0 installed, the problem is I can't use A3D (I think)
when I play quake 3 it won't even let me turn A3d on??

go to the creative and download the driver fils (just drivers, not liveware) it's 5 meg
